After a lifetime devoted to education, Norm believes there is still more he can give. His passion for students, families and strong Catholic education has never wavered. He is running for Trustee because he believes every voice deserves to be heard, every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and experienced leadership can make a meaningful difference.
A longtime resident of Waterloo Region and a resident of the city of Waterloo, Norm brings decades of educational leadership, a deep understanding of our school system, and something equally important: a willingness to listen.
For Norm, public service has always been about people. Listening to them. Learning from them. And working together to create opportunities for the next generation.
Transparent, accountable leadership focused on student achievement, well-being and responsible decision-making.
Protecting and strengthening publicly funded Catholic education while keeping faith, service and student success at the heart of our schools.
Supporting welcoming, respectful schools where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
Listening to students, families, educators and our community before making decisions that affect their schools and their future.
